Dear Friends of Dusit International With a strong leadership heritage in hospitality for over 60 years and having seen many highs and lows, we are confident that the global economy will rebound in a more sound and viable way for the future and we celebrate this prospect with our ongoing international development and growth. In particular, we are extremely excited with the design phase of our New Delhi joint venture project - our first Dusit Devarana, scheduled for opening in 2010 and one of 6 properties slated for the Indian subcontinent. All will be revealed very soon! India, along with other BRIC nations (Brazil, Russia, India, and China) are expected to lead the world's economies out of these challenging times and Dusit International is poised to ride this wave with its new projects in India, and soon to be announced in Russia and China. In the meantime, we are delighted to share with you our ongoing projects and news from Dusit International family. In support of these developments, our Education Division consisting of Dusit Thani College (DTC), Dusit Executive Development Centre (DEDC), Le Cordon Bleu Dusit Culinary School (LCBD), and our programme with Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) is preparing the young generations of today for an exciting career in the hospitality field. As a matter of fact, Lyceum of the Philippines University has just this commenced the first DTC - LPU programme with over 4,000 enrolments, which has exceeded all expectations for the programme's inaugural enrolment in June.
