Dusit International appoints new Director of Branding

Bangkok, October 15, 2012: Dusit International has announced the appointment of 35 year-old Gerrit Kruger as its new Director of Branding, effective immediately.

A German national, Mr Kruger brings more than a decade of management and marketing experience to his new position which also includes the role of acting Loyalty Marketing Director overseeing all loyalty programmes and partnerships.
Prior to joining Dusit International, Gerrit was based in Germany managing a boutique marketing agency. He spent eight years residing in Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Thailand working with international companies in senior marketing and brand positions. Gerrit's tourism experience includes a two and a half year stint as a management associate with the Singapore Tourism Board.

Gerrit is tasked with strengthening the four Dusit International brands globally, namely Dusit Thani, dusitD2, Dusit Princess, and Dusit Devarana, during this period of rapid expansion for the Group. Gerrit studied Marketing and Tourism at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) of Singapore, and subsequently graduated from the International University in Germany with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
