Chiang Mai, Thailand – Devarana Spa, ‘Heaven for Spa Lovers,’ in Chiang Mai recently received the Thailand Tourism Awards 2010 for Outstanding Performance, in the category of Health Tourism Hotel & Resort Spa for the northern region, which was organised by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT).
Initiated by TAT since 1996 and held bi-annually, the Thailand Tourism Awards is Thailand's 'Hallmark of Excellence' — a symbol of assurance in the outstanding quality and reliability of tourism products and services offered by a particular organisation or operator. Devarana Spa, at the stylish dusitD2 chiang mai, was recognised for its outstanding contributions to Thai tourism, innovative service and creativity in the field of sustainable tourism, conservation and environmental protection efforts.
