Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket earns TUI Environmental Champion award

Phuket, Thailand – Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket has achieved a total of 565 points out of 656 been for its sustainability policies in environmental and ecological responsible management, giving it 64th place in the prestigious TUI Umwelt Champion (TUI Environmental Champion) award 2012 by TUI deutschland Gmbh, one of the world's leading tour operators.

The annual TUI Umwelt Champion award is based on a customer driven questionnaire relating to a hotel's perceived environmentally responsible performance. Awardee hotels receive a special quality seal symbol that is also highlighted in the TUI brochures and tour related material.

"This outstanding accolade is a special mark of appreciation for our resort and one that acknowledges the efforts of our dedicated team of our Green Environmental committees," said Peter Komposch, General Manager of Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket. "It's an award of which we are all especially proud," he added.
