Dusit Thani Dubai welcomes Russian Speaking Community

Dignitiaries graced the event attended by the Russian community in the United Arab Emirates

Dubai, United Arab Emirates – Dusit Thani Dubai was recently selected as the venue for the annual conference of the Russian Speaking Community. Held in Al Wasl Ballroom C of the hotel, approximately 100 Russian nationals who are currently residing in the United Arab Emirates came together to celebrate their ethnicity and unity. Dusit Thani Dubai led by Mr. James Robert Wilson, General Manager, takes the pleasure of welcoming distinguished guests, including the Russian Consul General Hon. Timu Zabirov and Ambassador H.E. Andrey Andreev.

H.E. Andrey Andreev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the United Arab Emirates has an extensive background in the Middle East region since 1978. He held various diplomatic posts in Egypt, Syria, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Qatar. During the past decade, he was appointed as Deputy Director of the Middle East and North Africa Department and subsequently Ambassador of the Russian Federation.
