Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket’s first evening event at Latitude

Phuket, Thailand – Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket recently held its first evening event at Latitude, the new water front event venue at Laguna Phuket – Asia’s premier resort destination. The Golf Charity Ball of the Rotary Club of Patong Beach started the day off with a wonderful game of golf at Laguna Phuket Golf Club and ends with a great dinner full of prizes, a silent auction and a live band in the Latitude meeting facility. All proceeds from this event will be used to help children in need, with the prime recipient being the Home & Life Foundation, which will continue to focus on contributing to underprivileged children.  The participants at the Charity Ball, “Party in Laguna” event enjoyed the experience of the sophisticated and authentic cuisine together with live performances.

“It is a great pleasure to be chosen as the organiser for this event and to present the unique cuisine and hospitality in the brand-new Latitude venue. Each menu item was specifically selected for the purpose of delivering the real sensation of each restaurant by our well-known chefs,” said Mr. Peter Komposch, General Manager of Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket.

The evening was filled with culinary delights from each restaurant, including award-winning La Trattoria – authentic Italian restaurant. Ruen Thai restaurant, which offers the secret of Thai cuisine, highlighted delicious menu selections that included Tod Man Pla (deep fried fish cakes with dip sauce), Tom Yam Goong (traditional sour and spicy soup with Prawns), and Tom Kha Gai (coconut soup with chicken and galangal) while the Casuarina restaurant featured their special steaks and seafood as well as a ‘Kids Corner,’ with food and games available for children at the event.
