World famous golf celebrities grace Dusit Thani Pattaya during Honda LPGA Thailand 2012

Dusit Thani Pattaya was once again the official host hotel to one of the prestigious sporting events that has helped boost the city of Pattaya for the past several years. The Honda LPGA Thailand held on 12–19 February brought world-renowned female golfers to Pattaya, as well as international recognition to the Kingdom.

Some 60 leading LPGA tour players – including defending champion Yani Tseng of Taiwan, Ai Miyazato of Japan, Michelle Wie and Paula Creamer of the USA, Shin Jiyai of South Korea and Thailand's rising stars Moriya and Ariya Jutanugarn, Nontaya Srisawang and Junthima Gulayanamitta graced the resort for the week-long tournament held at the Pattaya Old Course, Siam Country Club.

One of the highlights was the Charity Gala Dinner held at the hotel's Napalai Ballroom on Valentine's night. Autographed items from participating players were auctioned off with the proceeds benefitting charitable institutions. This year's golf spectacle concluded with the second win for Yani Tseng after she beat Ai Miyazato and Shin Jiyai during the final match.
