Seaplane Transfers

We hope you enjoy the seaplane transfer from the Ibrahim Nasir Airport in Malé Island direct to Dusit Thani Maldives' platform! It's so scenic 35-minute flight over the crystal waters.

The seaplane round trip cost is USD 440 per adult (subject to 6% GST). Children under 12 years of age receive a 50% discount on the transfer.

Do not worry about arranging this flight as Dusit Thani Maldives will organize the transfer after receiving your booking. Arrival flight information is required so that the resort can make seaplane reservation. You should however be aware of, and note the following:

• The seaplanes only operate in daylight hours (seaplane check-in times are typically 6am - 4pm). This means that guests arriving in Malé in the evening or at night arrivals must stay overnight before flying to Baa Atoll the next morning. Additionally, guests with flights departing Malé before 9.30am may need to stay overnight there. Our reservations team will gladly assist in arranging an overnight stay at a hotel near the airport if required.
• Our airport representative will meet you outside the arrivals terminal of Ibrahim Nasir Airport and escort you by shuttle bus to the seaplane terminal.
• The seaplane company will confirm the flight time 24 hours prior to departure. You will be informed of your seaplane departure time upon arrival in Malé.
• The seaplane company restricts guests' baggage allowance to 25 kg including hand luggage. Any excess luggage is chargeable for a cost of US2$ per kg.
• Please inform us of your international flight details at least 7 days before arrival in order to guarantee seaplane seats. Failure to advise us in sufficient time can cause delays in Malé and may incur extra overnight stays at additional cost to you.
• A word about the weather! On rare occasions, extreme weather conditions can cause the seaplane to cancel flights. The resort cannot assume responsibility for compensation arising from such delays.
• In the usual conditions, guests arrive at the resort within two hours of touchdown in Malé.

Return plane transfers by domestic airline to Dharavandhoo airport is USD315 per guest + prevailing GST.
