Mr. Silvano Amolini, Executive Chef of Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket, continuously creates the signature dishes especially for La Trattoria. Blending new Italian sensations and tastes, his highlighted menus include, ‘Insalata di rucola con timballo di gorgonzola e noci, sciroppo al Balsamico’ which is a fresh starter composed of rocket salad with a timbale of Gorgonzola cheese and walnuts, while the balsamic syrup is the final touch for this special dish. Additionally, ‘Pici toscani con stracotto di manzo al Chianti’ is a home-made Pici with braised beef cooked in Chianti red wine which creates a sublime combination.

During May 2010, La Trattoria is offering a special dining experience with speciality items from the Veneto region. The highlighted menus are ‘Gamberoni alla Busara con riso e piselli’, prawns sautéed in a slightly spicy tomato sauce, served with rice and peas for only THB 390, and ‘Baccala’ matecato su purea legegra di patate’, made with fresh cod fish mousse with a light creamy potato puree at a special price of THB 290.
