Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket celebrates Her Majesty the Queen’s birthday

Phuket, Thailand – On the occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s birthday, Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket led by Mrs. Natalie Kamolwattanasoontorn (middle of the picture), Resident Manager, organises activities to celebrate and show respect to Her Majesty the Queen on 12 August 2010. The event takes place at the lobby area of Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket, participated by both hotel’s staff and guests.

To celebrate Her Majesty the Queen of Thailand’s birthday, the people of Thailand celebrate both the queen and their mothers, as the day also marks National Mother’s day. Public areas are elaborately decorated with lights and national flag, and images of the Queen are prominently displayed in people’s homes and business buildings, with festival of music and culture in the all cities.
