Dusit Thani Dubai Introduces New Menu in Signature Royal Thai Cuisine Restaurant
Dusit Thani Dubai is proud to introduce its new menu in its signature restaurant, Benjarong, featuring authentic Royal Thai cuisine dishes, new presentation styles, but with the same unique Dusit Thai hospitality.
Influenced by recipes from the Royal Thai Palaces during the reign of King Rama V, Benjarong at Dusit Thani Dubai was the first specialty restaurant to introduce Royal Thai cuisine to the residents and visitors of Dubai. Authentic Royal Thai cuisine presents a well-rounded combination of flavors—not too spicy, salty, sour, or bitter, but with a bit more emphasis on sweetness. A large extent of creativity and attention-to-detail is involved in the creation of each dish. This can be seen in the elaborate fruit and vegetable carvings that not only make up the presentation but is also used in the preparation of the dish itself, or the detailed shaping of savory and sweet delights to resemble the flora and fauna of Thailand. Royal Thai cuisine appeals not only to the sense of taste, but also to the senses of scent and sight.
Guests at Benjarong will now have a larger vegetarian selection to choose from, as well as some new additions that include “Gaeng Som Cha Om Kai Tod” (hot and sour curry with acacia and prawns) and “Goong Mangkorn Benjarong” (Maine lobster with roasted chilli paste, red onions, bell peppers, and sweet basil). Benjarong signature dishes, such as “Gaeng Phed Ped Yang” (roasted duck in red curry) and “Goong Sauce Makham” (prawns in tamarind sauce), as well as other favorites, are still available on the new menu.
