Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket switching off on Earth Hour
Phuket, Thailand – Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket, in cooperation with Earth Hour communities worldwide, will participate in the 2013 Earth Hour effort on Saturday 23 March 2013 from 8.30pm to 9.30pm, Phuket local time.
To raise awareness of global warming and to take action against climate change, lights will be turned off on the exterior of the building, as well as in the restaurants, main lobby and other public areas. The resort also encourages in-house guests to participate in Earth Hour day with regards to reducing electricity consumption and carbon emissions for that hour.
The evening of the 23rd, Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket invites resort guests and Phuket residents to gather at a specially created ‘Earth Hour – Long Table Evening’ event. Featuring a four-course wine dinner set on long dining table at Casuarina beachfront restaurant, our chefs will prepare each course by using locally grown, seasonal and or organic ingredients. Additional activities that evening include our resident Red Rhythm band who will perform an unplugged mini concert and bartender shows.
