It’s Ladies’ Night at the Dusit Thani Dubai
For one night amidst the football fever, the gents took a backseat and the ladies ruled the evening on 28 June 2010 —the ladies of the PA’s Club that is. Dusit Thani Dubai welcomed 53 of Dubai’s most dedicated personal assistants, secretaries, executive assistants and other administrative personnel ready to let their hair down.
Almost a decade since the hotel first opened its doors to its UAE guests, Dusit Thani Dubai showcases the very reasons why it has withstood the years. And it starts with its unique and prized asset, its people. The ladies were welcomed by Dusit Thani Dubai’s General Manager, Mr. James Wilson, and Director of Sales & Marketing, Mr. Leon Salinel, along with his team at the Champagne Lounge located at the 24th floor.
They were then escorted to the “interactive” site inspection where Dusit Thani Dubai staff provided detailed introduction on rooms and facilities. From the Lobby, Dusit Delicatessen, MyBar on the ground floor to the Meeting Center with central coffee and food station on the Mezzanine. From the Grand and Club Rooms, One-Bedroom and Two-Bedroom Suites to the Club Floor. From the Gym and Pool Deck on the topmost floor. Added values and privileges were likewise briefed to the guests, much to their amusement. (can you please give some example on what amused the guests?)
It was followed by hours of great food, flowing drinks and lively buzz both from the PA’s and the Dusit Thani Dubai’s Sales & Marketing Team at the hotel’s signature restaurant, Benjarong. Serving only the finest of Royal Thai Cuisine, Benjarong did not dissappoint as the guests were all praises of its food as well as the authentic Thai hospitality it serves. Noteable prizes and goodie bags (i.e. a helicopter ride around Dubai and the Thai Way of Life Cookbook) were presented to the stars of the evening, Dubai’s PA’s.
Indeed, it was a night the ladies ruled. Football Stopped. And playtime for these hardworking PA’s had begun.
