Dusit Thani Dubai Loves Thailand

Dusit Thani Dubai, led by General Manager, Mr. James Wilson, co-hosted the “WE LOVE THAILAND” campaign with the Royal Thai Consulate, Thai Trade Center of Dubai, Thai Airways International, and Tourism Authority of Thailand. The event was held at the Al Wasl Ballroom of the hotel on 23 June 2010.

The initiative of Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is aimed to encourage the interest of Middle East markets to the Land of Smiles, and to spearhead a series of special offers in the region to ensure that one of the world’s favourite destinations still possesses that enigmatic Thai culture and hospitality it is best known for.

The venue was transformed into “everything Thai”—from Thai cultural performancing a traditional marketplace-setting, authentic Thai products, cooking demonstrations, fruit carving and wellness services. Visitors were also given in-depth information on Thailand’s world-class medical tourism programmes.

Local Thai business and restaurants in Dubai gave their support in making the event even more successful, further offering special offers to future clients.  Dignitaries gracing the event were H.E. Consul General Pasan Teparak, Thai Trade Center Executive Director Natapong Boonjing, TAT Director Pramoth Supyen and Thai Airways International General Manager Manan Boonyachai.
