Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket celebrates HM the King's 82nd birthday

Phuket – On 5 December 2009 at 7.19pm Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket, Mr. Peter Komposch, General Manager presided over the candle-lighting and the National Anthem singing ceremony in paying respects and good wishes to His Majesty the King of Thailand.

Hotel associates and guests were also participated in a nationwide celebration on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King’s 82nd birthday anniversary.

The ceremony was held at the hotel lobby where the entire area was grandly illuminated with candle lights. This public holiday was celebrated nationwide as Father's Day where portraits of His Majesty were placed at the Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket’s lobby as well as individual household and other organisations. National flags were decorated in order to wish His Majesty happiness and prosperity.
