Pattaya City honours Dusit Thani Pattaya for bagging multiple awards in nationwide F&B events and competitions

Pattaya Deputy Mayor Mr Ronakit Ekasingh (6th left, back row) paid a visit to Dusit Thani Pattaya to personally express his appreciation on behalf of Pattaya City for the hotel’s F&B staff who emerged victorious from two bartending competitions and from the 18th Thailand International Culinary Cup in which the resort bagged three of bronze, silver and gold medals in different categories.

At the Pattaya and the East Bartender Contest 2012 held at Dusit Thani Pattaya, the hotel garnered a total of seven awards that included Ms Bartender grabbed by the hotel’s own performers, The Honeybees. Ms Kanda Namboran (7th left) won the second prize in Flair Bartending at the same event and her victories continued on when she clinched two of the major trophies in the Thailand Bartender Championship 2012 held at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center (BITEC) securing the Best Flair Bartender and Best Cocktail awards and besting other contestants from across Thailand. A proud Mr Ekasingh congratulated General Manager Chatchawal Supachayanont (6th right) for his unending support and encouragement to the staff. The deputy mayor also extended the city’s appreciation to the winners for the pride, honour and prestige that their accomplishments have brought not only to the hotel but to the entire city of Pattaya as well.

Ms Kanda Namboran holds up the trophies she brought home from two major categories in the Thailand Bartender Championship 2012 - The Best in Flair Bartending and Best Cocktail awards. She is scheduled to compete in the ASEAN Bartender Competition early next year and eventually the World Bartender Competition.

Ms Namboran shakes things up at the Thailand Bartender Championship 2012 held at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center earning her the Best in Flair Bartending and the Best Cocktail trophies for her ‘Treasure’ creation.

The Honeybees of Dusit Thani Pattaya bagged the Ms Bartender award from the 2012 Pattaya and the East Bartending Contest organized by the Thai Hotels Association. The event took place on 29 August and was participated in by hotels and resorts in Thailand’s Eastern Seaboard and held at the Napalai Ballroom of Dusit Thani Pattaya. The hotel also took the first and second prizes in six other major categories of the competition.

Winners all from the 18th Thailand International Culinary Cup (TICC) held in Bangkok are seen with Pattaya deputy mayor, the general manager and Executive Chef Adrian W. O’Herlihy of the resort.

Ms Juthaporn Daosawa received a special recognition for her extraordinary talent and remarkable carving skill in the 18th TICC Event. The award came from the Chief Director of Japanese Fruit and Soap Carving Society.
