Skål International Pattaya and East Thailand is launched at the resort
Skål International Pattaya and East Thailand recently celebrated its successful re-launch. The event was held at Dusit Thani Pattaya and was attended by top hoteliers of the resort city, as well as other movers and shakers of the travel and tourism sector. It was also an opportunity to announce its new chapter president, Tony Malhotra, deputy managing director of Pattaya Mail Publishing. Among those that shared the celebratory mood were: Skål International president Mok Singh, national president of Skål International Thailand Andrew Wood, and Sen. Sutham Phantusak, known for his strong support to Pattaya’s tourism efforts.
Skål International was first inaugurated in 1934 and now covers 85 countries with over 20,000 members in 450 cities. In Thailand, the organization is represented by Skål Bangkok, Skål Chiang Mai and Northern Thailand, Skål Hua Hin and Cha Am, Skål Koh Samui and Skål Phuket.
Mr Chatchawal Supachayanont, in his capacity as the General Manager of the host venue, welcomes VIP guests and top executives of the resort city’s tourism business to the re-launch of Skål International. He expressed confidence that the re-launching of the world’s largest travel and tourism organization in Pattaya and the eastern region will bring more business opportunities to the city.
