Vimanmek Palace

Vimanmek Palace is a former royal palace that is located close to Dusit Zoo in Bangkok. Built by King Rama V in 1900, the mansion served as his summer palace for about five years. With an elaborate architectural style which bears a western influence, the palace is the biggest residence in Dusit Garden.

Having two right-angled wings, the mansion consists of 31 exhibition rooms including the Audience Chamber. Rooms displaying ivory, glassware, ceramic and silverware are also within the palace.
