Moxie restaurant at dusitD2 Chiang Mai is named as one of 'Thailand's Best Restaurants 2012' by Thailand Tatler magazine, the leading English-language luxury lifestyle publication.
This is Moxie's fifth year of inclusion in the prestigious fine dining guide, which reviews the best dining venues, as selected by its discerning readers. Moxie is one of 14 restaurants in Chiang Mai to receive acclaim as one of the region's best, for its exceptional cuisine and service.
According to Tatler, Moxie "is a casual, hip and cool venue stamped with a quirky sense of style that is also reflected in its surprising menu." The guide describes the restaurant's globe-trotting culinary journey to Japan for soba with shrimp tempura; then China for wok-fried konyakky noodles with prawns and roasted chilli paste; on to India for a range of curries; via the US for bacon-wrapped meatloaf, a filling dish served with traditional mash and gravy; all the way to England for fish and chips; to Peru for a delicate goat stew in cilantro sauce; and back to Chiang Mai for delicious spicy spaghetti made using the famous local sausage.
Committed to supporting sustainable tourism, Moxie recently added world-class organic coffee from nearby Doi Chaang in northern Thailand to its menu. The selected Arabica blend is 100 per cent natural and offers up to 50 per cent of the daily vitamins and minerals that the body needs.
