Learn the art of Royal Thai cooking at Dusit Island Resort Chiang Rai. The joy of Thai cooking starts here, using vegetables from our organic garden picked by you. You can have an experience with the warm atmosphere and purity of nature in the morning while walking in the garden to select vegetables. Learn to improve your cooking skills and taste the superb food resulting from your own efforts.
Program: Meet at the Island Cafe
08:00 – 08:40 hrs. Walk in the garden to select vegetables
08:40 – 09:00 hrs. Study cooking theory at the Island Cafe with information and recipes from the cookbook created by our Executive Chef
09:00 – 09:45 hrs. Basic fruits and vegetables carving
09:45 – 10:00 hrs. Refreshments served
10:00 – 12:00 hrs. 5 Thai dishes – demonstration by the Chef followed by student hands-on cooking of selected foods under the supervision and evaluation of the Executive Chef
12:00 hrs. Eating of the lunches that you have cooked, at the Island Cafe, certificate presentation.
Cost: Baht 2,950 net per person, includes Dusit Cookbook, apron, toque, Dusit certificate of completion, and a framed photo; all provided as mementos of your cooking experiences. Plus Dusit water (Btl.), blended fruit, herbal juice, coffee, tea or soft drink.
