The Great Carvery

In celebration of UK’s The GREAT Food Campaign, Basix all day dining restaurant in partnership with the Embassy of United Kingdom will feature every Sunday the Great Carvery for lunch priced at PHP1,850 net per person starting January 12.

Wagyu-fully Day

Due to guests’ demand, Umu Japanese Restaurant brings back the Wagyu Buffet offered for lunch and dinner priced at PHP8,300 net per person, served with assorted vegetables, steamed rice, miso soup and dessert. Guests may opt to partake this delicacy through a la carte with two varieties to choose from – the Wagyu Teppanyaki and Wagyu Ishiyaki. Offered from January 3 to 31, 2014.

Seafood on the Spotlight (or Seafood Galore)

Seafood never ceases in the table in any celebration, whether it may be a grand occasion or simply during ordinary days, seafood simply puts contentment to one’s hungry stomach. This January, Benjarong warms you up as it turns on the spotlight to two a la carte soup dishes prepared by Chef Suwanna Puangdee. On the menu is Phuket Ton Tofu (assorted seafood and beancurd soup in hot pot) priced at PHP750 and Jaew Ron Talay (assorted seafood mixed with vegetable soup) priced at PHP850 net. Available from January 17 to 31.

Modena’s Salami

Modena is a city on the south side of Po Valley in the province of Modena in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. An ancient town, Modena has a rich and diversified cuisine often including meats, ham and salamis.

This January, Tosca’s Italian Chef Maurizzio Gibillini whips up two dishes using Italian sausages as its main ingredient. On the menu from January 6 to 31 are Zampone (sausage stuffed pork knuckle with sauerkraut) which is one of the most famous Modenese dish and the Porchetta con Piadina (cured porchetta in thin flat bread).

Chinese New Year

Kung HeiFat Choi! 2014 in the Chinese calendar is the year of the horse. Gallop you way to Basix and feast on the restaurant’s delectable buffet spread with selections of favorite Chinese dishes. Biding adieu to the year that was and bringing in the good luck is the traditional Dragon dance on January 31. The Chinese New Year food offering is available for lunch and dinner from January 28 to 31.
