Mr. Octavio Gamarra, Senior Vice President, is responsible for the expansion of the business worldwide managing the financial success of the company.  Through his vision and passion, Mr. Gamarra plays a significant role in bringing Dusit International’s renowned Thai hospitality and world-class innovation to the rest of the world.

After completing his graduation in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Ecole Hotelier Lausanne in Switzerland and BS Business Administration from the University of Lima in Peru, Mr. Gamarra is a nineteen year veteran with Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company; the two most recent posts being the Ritz-Carlton, Osaka and Ritz-Carlton, Singapore, the company’s largest and most acclaimed hotels.  He was appointed by the Singapore government as Co-Chairman of the highly recognised “GEMS” service capabilities committee. An organization created to improve the service levels in Singapore.

Mr. Gamarra is a highly demanded public speaker specializing in service values and has been invited to address senior executives with leading companies such as Citibank, Ezai Pharmaceutical, NEC, Singapore Tourism Board, HSBC and Toyota.
