Le Cordon Bleu Dusit rolls out first term
Le Cordon Bleu Dusit Culinary School is now ready for operation. The first term begins with an orientation for enrolled students on 10th August 2007 and the classes commence on 14th August 2007.
For the first term in August, the school offers a three-month certificate course in Cuisine or Pastry (Basic Level). Applicants can also choose to study both courses at the same time, which will earn them a grand diploma. Le Cordon Bleu Basic Courses are designed for those with no experience in cooking, but who wish to explore French classic cooking techniques and preparations while being introduced to all aspects of the kitchen. Experienced Chef Instructors will teach the basic techniques and students will learn to prepare their own dish from their individual work station during the practical session.
Cooking courses are conducted in French by Chef Instructors and translated into Thai by interpreters knowledgeable about food. Courses for translation into English will be available for international students in the second term, which starts in late October 2007.
This remarkable new partnership between Dusit and Le Cordon Bleu - both recognized for excellence, prestige and quality - is a natural marriage with complementary strengths that responds to a growing demand in Thailand for quality culinary arts education and hospitality training.
