Benjarong Royal Thai Cuisine Restaurant at Dusit Thani, Bangkok has recently commenced its Thai Cooking Class every Monday to Saturday from 8:00 - 12:00 hrs., under the culinary supervision of Chef Surasak Kongsawat, Head Chef of Benarong restaurant, who has won a string of awards in Thai culinary arts.
Chef Surasak, or Chef Noi, has over 18 years of experience in Thai cuisine, and can be considered to be in the top rank of highly skilled and knowledgeable practitioners of the art of Thai cooking. Besides his never-ending passion for cooking, his expertise in fruit and vegetable carving is more than fully attested by over 15 awards and gold medals.
Moreover, he has also attended many highly recognized international food fairs. As Head Chef of Benjarong, he has specialized over the years on the world-famous Royal Thai cuisine that dates its origins in the kitchens of Thailand's Royal Family.
The one-day cooking class is held morning daily (except Sunday) at Bt 3,000++ per class per person, or at Bt 4,200++ including the Dusit Cookbook. The class includes a 5-course Thai set lunch, 3 recipes with pictures of each featured dish, 1 fruit carving, certificate presentation and a memorable photo taken with Chef Surasak. At least 3 days advanced reservation is required.
