Dusit Thani Pattaya once again hosts the annual Pattaya Women’s Open from 2 to 10 February 2008. Now in its 17th year, this renowned event gathers tennis enthusiasts from Thailand and around the world to see their favorite players compete.
A younger breed of tennis stars aspiring to make it to the top of the tennis ladder are in the tournament this year, led by the teenage Radwanska sisters from Poland, Agnieszka and Ursula, both former junior Wimbledon champions. Other rising stars on the roster areYing-Jan Chan (Taiwan), Vania King (USA), Sania Mirza (India), Aravane Rezai (France), and former top 10 players Alicia Molik (Australia), Mara Santangelo and Roberta Vinci (Italy), and representing Thailand, Tamarine Tanasugarn and Noppawan Lertcheewakarn (Thailand)
