Maldives, 24 June 2014 - Dusit Thani Maldives recently participated in the “Dive into Maldives” Australian Roadshow, covering the 3 cities of Sydney, Melbourne and Perth from 23 May to 2 June 2014. The venues of the roadshows were in the cities’ respective iconic Sea Life Aquariums, highlighting the essence of Maldives’ marine life at the events which attracted a record number of attendees.
The event was organised by the Maldives Marketing and PR Corporation (MMPRC), Dusit Thani Maldives and nine additional representative partners from the tourism industry of Maldives.
The event provided a perfect platform to meet and network with the travel trade of Australia. Travel agents were given an overview of the resort and the destination as a whole with an emphasis on resort’s unique selling points during the B2B meeting sessions. New accounts were solicited and varied media opportunities were explored during the MMPRC initiative.

Dusit Thani Maldives also sponsored the event’s raffle draws with three gift vouchers entitling the winners to a three-night stay at the resort, including breakfast for two.
