Dusit Thani Guam Resort Appoints General Manager

Bangkok, 5 February 2014 - Leading Asian hospitality group Dusit International announces the appointment of Mr. Dean Huntsman to the position of General Manager of Guam's first deluxe resort to open in over a decade, Dusit Thani Guam Resort.
Scheduled for Q3/14 opening, the highly anticipated beachside resort boasts 417 guest rooms over 30 floors and a host of world-class facilities, including restaurants, bars and Guam’s largest convention center.
An accomplished hotelier, Mr. Huntsman joins the Dusit International team with over twenty years’ experience in the hospitality field. Previously he worked with the Jumeirah Group as Director of Operations followed by a stint as Hotel Manager of the Jumeirah Essex House Hotel in New York City.
Prior to joining the Jumeirah Group, he spent over fifteen years with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts in Rooms Division and Sales and Marketing roles in locations including Guam, Oman, Indonesia, Korea, China, Hong Kong and Australia.

A dual national of the United States and Australia, Mr. Huntsman holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management from Les Roches Hotel Management School, Switzerland.
