The first deluxe International Hotel in Dongtai, Jiangsu

Shanghai, 18 March 2014 – Dusit Fudu Hotels and Resorts announces the signing of an agreement with Jiangsu Renda International Hotel Co. Ltd. to manage a 160-room deluxe hotel. Dusit Thani Dongtai, Jiangsu will be located in the city’s newest economic development zone, approximately two hours from Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport.

Dongtai has a long history dating back 2,100 years and its museums and temples hold many significant historic relics. A coastal city in east China, Dongtai is also known for its new energy industries including solar and wind power generation.

Scheduled to open in Q4 2014, Dusit Thani Dongtai, Jiangsu will offer a complete conference centre, including a 600sqm pillar-less ballroom that can accommodate all types of events for up to 700 guests and 11 meetings rooms with state of the art audio/visual facilities.

The award winning Devarana Spa, with its luxurious, Thai-inspired treatment rooms will provide guests with a full range of lifestyle and wellness programs. Dining outlets will include an all-day dining restaurant and a Chinese restaurant boasting 11 private dining rooms, in addition to a lobby lounge.
