From Dusit Thani Bangkok via BTS Station “Phorm Phong” exit 6 and walk towards Benjasiri Park. You will reach the event within 5 minutes. Open every day from 10:00 – 22:00 hrs. Tickets cost 600 baht for adult and child height 90-140 cm. for 400 baht.

Bangkok Folk Museum



Located in Soi Charoen Krung 43, the oldest road in Bangkok, the Bangkok Folk Museum welcomes visitors to explore the lifestyle of people in early Bangkok. This place was built in 1937, originally the home of the Suravadee family. Every details of in this house was preserved as in the old days.

The museum opens from Wednesday to Sunday, from 10.00 – 16.00 hrs. Visitors can take BTS to Saphan Taksin Station and take a bus no. 1, 16, 36, 75, 93 to the Grand Postal Building, Bangrak, then walk into Soi Charoen Krung 43 about 200 meters or a taxi to the museum. Entry is free.

Jim Thompson House



This former home of an American named Jim Thompson, who started the Thai silk industry after World War II, houses a magnificent collection of Asian art and many unique displays.

Open every day from 9:00 – 17:00 hrs. Visitors can take BTS to National Stadium Station. Take Exit 1 and go straight ahead to the end of Soi Kasemsan 2, Jim Thompson’s house is on left side.

Rattanakosin Exhibition Hall



The most entertaining way to discover more about history of the old Bangkok. Here you will get to experience the many things that make Bangkok great with a guided tour.

Open every day (except Monday) from 10:00 – 19:00 hrs. Last tour 17:00 hrs. Each tour takes approximately two hours. Entrance Fee: 100 baht, free for students. Visitors can take MRT Silom located right in front of the hotel to Hua Lamphong station then travel further via taxi to the museum (15 minutes if no traffic).

Museum Siam



Museum Siam, a new trendy museum under a concept of learning center, focusing on the history of Thailand, the ethnic culture and tradition until Thailand today with an integration of a modern technology to make learning history so much fun.

The museum is located nearby Temple of the Reclining Buddha or Wat Phra Chetuphon Vimolmangklararm Rajwaramahavihar (Wat Pho). From Dusit Thani Bangkok, guests may take the BTS from Saladaeng station to Wongwian Yai station and then take bus no. 82. Alternatively, take the MRT from Silom station to Hua Lamphong station, then take the bus no. 1, 25. The museum is open every Tuesday – Sunday 10:00 to 18:00 hrs.
