DUBAI, 13 July 2019 – For two nights only, 19th and 20th July 2019, Comida By KEN in partnership with 24th St. World Street Food at Dusit Thani Dubai is bringing you a dinner pop up event featuring eight plates served family style filled with artisanal flavors and highlighted by the Chef's special fresh pasta variety.

Seating is communal and is limited to a small number of seats on both nights.

The 8-course menu includes Salads (Frisee, Sliced Fennel & Pecorino Salad; Tuscan-Style Roasted Asparagus); Appetizers (Homemade Mozzarella, Heirloom Tomatoes & Basil; Courgette Carpaccio with Beans, Peppers & Capers), Main Course (Pici e Salsa Etrusca; Potato Gnocchi w/ Pastrami Ragù) and Desserts (Chocolate & Walnuts Risotto; Orange Tiramisu).

The street-food dining style concept aptly called 24th St., has gotten the foodies of Dubai by storm when it first opened a few months ago simulating a traditional hawker centre complete with Korean, Chinese, Japanese and Indian street food choices – a unique offering for the city, and another big hit with diners.

What’s more exciting is the opening of its two new dynamic kitchens this July – Ali’s and Mario’s featuring Arabic and Italian cuisines, respectively. This takes place from the 1st of July 2019. Available for lunch and dinner. With more variety to choose from, showcasing favorites from East to West -- families and groups of friends with varied taste preferences can now have a communal dining adventure in a high-street setting, amplified with a bustling atmosphere, contemporary eclectic décor and stunning views of Sheikh Zayed Road, DIFC and Burj Khalifa.

Chef Kareem El Nagdy (KEN) is a third culture kid and a third culture cook raised around the MENA area. A lifetime cook by passion and a tech executive by trade, he decided to transform himself from someone who loves and loved cooking from a young age to an artisan after finding inspiration in a gift. That gift? A pasta machine that has created an obsession with Italian cuisine for its simplicity and diversity. That pursuit created Comida By KEN; a pop up dinner concept that moves around the epicurean city of Dubai and draws on Kareem’s international upbringing by marrying pasta and other dishes to global flavours.
