Dusit Thani employees proudly joined over 60 teams in the annual Relay for Life walk against cancer on Friday, May 25th at the George Washington High School track. Relay for Life is an annual fundraiser of the American Cancer Society. Participants raised $177,352.49 toward the non-profit’s goal of $485,000 for the year. All funds go to fight against cancer. Last year, the Relay on Guam raised $494,000 and the non-profit is optimistic it will reach this year's goal. All money raised goes toward the American Cancer Society's efforts to fund cancer research, critical patient care services, education and prevention initiatives, and more. This year Relay For Life Guam had a sports theme, with teams decked out in sports attire. Dusit Thani Guam showcased its brand spirit and community support with a mobile, illuminated “D” for Dusit as well as greeters who led the group during the parade of teams along with purple flags in support of cancer awareness. It was also a meaningful way to express the core values of Care, Commit and Can Do.
