Dusit joins TAT’s ‘We Love Local’ campaign to help promote highland communities in northern Thailand
Group CEO, Khun Suphajee Suthumpun, leads company’s efforts to raise awareness of beautiful villages such as Ban Pha Bong, where a wealth of cultural experiences await.
Dusit International has joined the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) in its efforts to promote second tier cities around the kingdom and help raise awareness of local products. As a proud ambassador of the TAT’s ‘We Love Local’ campaign, Dusit will provide support for villages in Mae Hong Son province, northern Thailand.
The company will work closely with communities such as Ban Pha Bong to raise awareness of local products like peanut oil, organic rice, and traditional hand woven bags, and also promote the destination via online campaigns.
Khun Suphajee is one of 10 CEOs who has signed up as a We Love Local ambassador. Each CEO is tasked with helping to generate sustainable income for their respective communities, with a target of 1 million baht in revenue for each community within the first year.
