Tlejourn (meaning ‘wandering across the sea’) is a dedicated social enterprise that intercepts ocean plastic debris—primarily discarded flip-flops—and transforms them into new, vibrant footwear. Beyond their environmental mission, Tlejourn operates on a zero-profit model, providing stable, meaningful income to craftswomen in the local community of Pattani, Southern Thailand.
What You Will Do: In this exclusive 2-hour session, the Tlejourn experts will guide you step-by-step through the process of upcycling plastic waste into components for a functional and fashionable shoe. This is your chance to get hands-on with sustainable design, learn about the circular economy, and create a tangible product that carries a powerful story.
