Charoen Chai Community

Nestled in a small alley between Charoenkrung and Phlapphla Chai Road, only a 2-minute walk from ASAI Bangkok Chinatown, Charoen Chai Community welcomes visitors back to the good old days of Thai-Chinese culture and way of life. This old house was converted into a museum to preserve the heritage of the community. It’s also a popular place to buy the joss paper used in many Chinese religious rituals.

Klong Ong Aang

Just steps from MRT Sam Yot station, you’ll find one of Bangkok’s newest and coolest hangout spots. Klong Ong Aang is a chic walking street with food stalls, art murals, street performances and fun water activities. Thanks to the city’s 2015 beautification project, Ong Ang Canal has been transformed into a gorgeous spot to try paddle boarding or kayaking or for a pleasant evening’s stroll. The Walking Street is open Friday to Sunday from 4pm to 10pm.
