The SG61 at Dusit Laguna Photo Contest, referred to as the “Contest”, is organised by Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore, referred to as the “Organiser”. 

  By participating in the Contest, each participant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

  By participating in the Contest, each participant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. 

1. Campaign Period 

• Starts: 29 July 2026. 1800 hours SGT 
• Ends: 10 August 2026. 2359 hours SGT 

Entries received before or after the closing date will not be considered. 

The Organiser’s system records and timestamps will be used to determine whether an entry was submitted within the Contest Period 

• Judging period: 11 August – 14 August 2026 
• Winner announcement (17 August 2026 at 1800 hours SGT) 

Winner announced on Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore’s social media platforms.  

  The Organiser may change the announcement date if there is a necessity to do so. 

2. Eligibility 

• The Contest is open to Singapore citizens/residents, international visitors and registered hotel guests, provided that they are able to redeem the prize in Singapore within the stated prize validity period. 
• No accommodation, transportation, airfare, visa, insurance or other expenses will be provided unless expressly included in the prize description. 
• Employees who are directly involved in organising, administering or judging the Contest are not eligible to participate. 
• Agencies, contractors, suppliers and representatives directly involved in administering or judging the Contest are also not eligible to participate. 
• Staff and immediate family members of hotel employees cannot participate. 
• The Organiser may request reasonable proof of age, identity and eligibility before awarding the prize. 

3. No Purchase Required  

• No room booking, dining purchase or other purchase are required to enter the Contest. 
• Participants must only take photographs in publicly accessible areas of the hotel or areas that they are authorised to enter. 
• Participants must comply with the hotel’s rules, security requirements and instructions from hotel employees while on the property. 
• Participants must not enter restricted areas, disrupt hotel operations and guests, or engage in unsafe/unruly behaviour for the purpose of creating an entry. 

4. Entry Requirements  

To submit a valid entry, the participant must complete all of the following requirements during the Contest Period: 

• Follow Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore’s official Instagram or Facebook account. 
• Take an original photograph of yourself with friends/family within Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore’s property. 
• Publish the photograph as a permanent public feed post on the participant’s own Instagram or Facebook account. 
• Tag @DusitThaniLagunaSingapore in the post. 
• Include the official Contest hashtag #SG61AtDusitLaguna. 
• Include a caption explaining how the photograph represents the spirit of SG61, Singapore, or the participant’s experience at Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore. 
• Keep the post and the participant’s social media profile publicly accessible until the winner has been verified and announced. 

Instagram or Facebook Stories, private posts, direct messages and comments on the Organiser’s post will not be accepted as entries unless otherwise expressly stated by the Organiser. 

Participants must not tag themselves or another person in a photograph unless the tagged person is actually shown in the photograph and has agreed to be tagged. 

Incomplete, inaccessible, incorrectly tagged or incorrectly hash-tagged entries may be disqualified. 

5. Content Guidelines  

Entries must not contain:  

• Offensive, threatening, abusive or discriminatory content. 
• Hate speech, harassment or bullying. 
• Nudity, sexually explicit material or inappropriate conduct. 
• Illegal activities or unsafe behaviour. 
• Defamatory, false, deceptive or misleading information. 
• Copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other intellectual property infringement. 
• Political campaigning or content that may reasonably damage the reputation of the Organiser, Dusit Hotels and Resorts, its guests, employees or business partners. 
• Personal information belonging to another person without permission. 
• Content that violates Instagram’s, Facebook’s or Meta’s applicable terms, policies or community standards. 

The Organiser may remove, reject or disqualify an entry that it reasonably considers inappropriate or non-compliant. 

 6. Entry limit  

• Each person may submit only one entry throughout the Contest Period, regardless of the number of social media profiles or platforms that the person owns. 
• Where a participant submits more than one entry, the Organiser may accept only the first valid entry or disqualify all entries submitted by that participant. 

• Each participant may win only one prize. 

  7. Photograph Requirements 

Each submitted photograph must: 

• Be created and photographed by the participant. 
• Be taken within Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore’s property. 
• Be suitable for public display. 
• Comply with these Terms and Conditions and the applicable social media platform’s rules. 
• Not have been copied, purchased, licensed or taken from another person or source. 

  Basic photographic adjustments such as cropping, brightness, exposure, contrast and colour correction are permitted. 

Photographs that are substantially generated, altered or reconstructed using generative artificial intelligence, AI image generation, AI replacement, generative fill, composite manipulation or similar technology may be disqualified. 

The Organiser may request the original photograph or reasonable supporting information to verify that an entry is authentic. 

  8. Rights and Consent Relating to People in Photographs  

• Participants must obtain permission from every identifiable person appearing in the submitted photograph before publishing and submitting the entry. 
• Where a person appearing in the photograph is below 18 years old, the participant must obtain consent from that person’s parent or legal guardian. 
• Participants must not photograph other hotel guests, visitors or employees in a manner that infringes their privacy or causes distress, embarrassment or inconvenience. 
• By submitting an entry, the participant confirms that all necessary permissions and consents have been obtained. 
• The participant will be responsible for any reasonable claim arising from the participant’s failure to obtain the required permission or consent                     

9. Jugding

Eligible entries will be assessed by a judging panel appointed by the Organiser. 

Entries will be evaluated according to the following criteria: 

• Likes, comments, shares, views, follower count and other engagement metrics will not determine the winner. 
• The Organiser may consider public engagement when identifying entries for promotional features, but engagement will not replace the official judging criteria.  
• If two or more entries receive the same score, the judging panel will determine the winner based on the entry that achieves the highest score for originality and creativity. 

• The judges’ decision is final. The Organiser is not required to disclose individual scores, judging discussions or correspondence concerning the results.

10. Winner and Featured Entries  

The winning participant will receive: 

• The Seafood Spectacular Dinner Buffet for Two:                                             Worth SGD164* ++ valid for 3 months  
• The Organiser may also select and feature additional entries on its social media and marketing channels. Featured entries do not receive a prize unless expressly stated by the Organiser. 
• Being featured does not mean that the participant is a winner. 

  11. Winner Notification and Verification  

• The provisional winner will be contacted through direct message from Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore’s official social media account. 
• The provisional winner must respond within 72 hours of the notification and provide the information reasonably required for identity, age, eligibility and prize verification. 
• Participants should be cautious of fraudulent accounts. The Organiser will not request payment, banking passwords, one-time passwords or credit card information to release the prize. 

       If the provisional winner: 

• Does not respond within 72 hours. 
• Cannot be contacted. 
• Fails to provide the requested verification information. 
• Does not satisfy the eligibility requirements. 
• Has breached these Terms and Conditions. 
• Declines or is unable to redeem the prize. 

The Organiser may disqualify the provisional winner and award the prize to the next highest-scoring eligible entry. 

The winner’s social media name, username and winning entry may be published as part of the winner announcement. 

 12. Prize Conditions  

• The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, vouchers or other products or services. 
• The prize may not be resold or used for commercial purposes. 
• The prize is valid from 17 August until 17 November 2026. 
• Advance reservation is strictly required and is subject to availability. 
• The winner must comply with all booking, dining, dress code, capacity, age, operational and redemption requirements applicable to the prize. 
• Unless expressly included in the prize description, the winner will be responsible for transportation, accommodation, taxes, service charges, incidental expenses and any additional purchases. 
• Any unused portion of the prize will be forfeited and will not be refunded. 
• The Organiser may substitute the prize with another prize of comparable or greater value if the original prize becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond the Organiser’s reasonable control. 

  13. Marketing and Publicity   

Participants retain ownership of their submitted photographs and captions. 

By entering the Contest, each participant grants the Organiser: Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore and its related companies a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to reproduce, publish, display, repost, edit for formatting, crop, resize and share the submitted entry for: 

• Administering and promoting the Contest. 
• Announcing the winner and featuring selected entries. 
• Promoting Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore and its related hotel, dining, leisure and hospitality offerings. 
• Internal presentations, reports and communications relating to the Contest.
• This permission applies across the Organiser’s websites, social media platforms, digital communications, public relations materials and other marketing channels. 
• No additional payment or compensation will be provided for such use. 
• The Organiser will provide credit to the participant’s social media username where reasonably practicable. 
• The Organiser will not claim that it created the participant’s photograph. 
• The participant confirms that the Organiser’s permitted use of the entry will not infringe another person’s copyright, privacy, publicity or other legal rights. 

  14. Personal Data  

Personal data collected in connection with the Contest may include the participant’s name, social media username, contact details, photograph, likeness, proof of age and information required for prize fulfilment. 

The Organiser may collect, use and disclose this information for: 

• Administering and verifying entries. 
• Contacting and verifying the winner. 
• Announcing the winner. 
• Delivering and administering the prize. 
• Investigating suspected fraud or breaches of these Terms and Conditions. 
• Meeting applicable legal, regulatory and record-keeping requirements. 
• Personal data will only be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes or as required by law. 
• Personal data may be disclosed to the Organiser’s related companies, service providers and business partners where reasonably necessary to administer the Contest or fulfil the prize. 
• Participation in the Contest does not automatically constitute consent to receive unrelated direct marketing communications. 
• Any separate marketing subscription will require the participant’s consent where required by applicable law. 
• Personal data will be handled in accordance with the Organiser’s privacy policy and applicable Singapore data protection laws.

  15. Disqualification and Fraud  

The Organiser may disqualify any participant or entry that: 

• Does not comply with these Terms and Conditions. 
• Contains false, misleading or incomplete information. 
• Uses multiple accounts to submit additional entries. 
• Uses automated systems, bots, fake accounts or purchased engagement. 
• Attempts to manipulate the judging process. 
• Impersonates another person. 
• Infringes another person’s rights. 
• Interferes with the operation or integrity of the Contest. 
• Engages in fraudulent, abusive or dishonest conduct. 

  The Organiser may request supporting information where it reasonably suspects that an entry is fraudulent, copied, AI-generated or otherwise ineligible. 

  16. Technical Issues and Limitations of Responsibility  

• The Organiser is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete, inaccessible, incorrectly tagged or not received due to technical failures, internet disruptions, social media settings, platform errors or circumstances beyond the Organiser’s reasonable control. 
• Participants are responsible for ensuring that their accounts, posts, tags, hashtags and privacy settings allow the Organiser to view and verify their entries. 
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Organiser will not be responsible for losses arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance and use of the prize, except where the loss results directly from the Organiser’s negligence or where liability cannot legally be excluded. 

 17. Instagram and Facebook Disclaimer  

• This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram, Facebook or Meta. 
• By participating, each entrant acknowledges that the entrant is providing information to the Organiser and not to Instagram, Facebook or Meta. 
• To the extent permitted by law, each entrant fully releases Instagram, Facebook and Meta from any responsibility, claim or liability arising from or relating to the Contest. 
• Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Contest must be directed to the Organiser and not to Instagram, Facebook or Meta. 

 18. Changes, Suspension or Cancellation  

The Organiser may amend, suspend, postpone or cancel the Contest where reasonably necessary due to fraud, technical failure, legal or regulatory requirements, safety concerns or circumstances beyond the Organiser’s reasonable control. 

Where practicable, material changes will be communicated through the Organiser’s official social media platforms. 

Any amendment will take effect from the date stated in the announcement and will not unfairly disadvantage participants who have already submitted valid entries. 

  19. Governing Law  

• These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Singapore. 
• Any dispute relating to the Contest will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
